Who is Lottie?
Hello, that's me!!! I am a silly nineteen year old girl full of joyous whimsy. I consider myself a child at heart and I like using art and the internet to chronicle my interests and character development. I think I am a pretty creative person, I like to draw and crochet and sew.
I have a future in the funeral industry and I would like to be an embalmer and funeral director one day. I'm also very interested in anthropology, some of my favorite subjects being linguistics, primatology, forensic anthropology, folkloristics, art as a cultural phenomenon... etc. Some of my other miscellenious interests include: Lolita fashion, BDSM & kink, old Newgrounds animations and other tidbits of 2000s internet culture, haute couture, medical and military history.
Offline, I spend most of my time working -- other than that, I am pretty much a homebody. I have a few collections: porcelain dolls, lolita fashion (when I can afford it), and some figures here and there. I'm not really interested in socializing at all, and I spend my free time trying o hone my creative skills. I'm extremely introverted.

What is Thingamabob?
I don't really have any sort of "vision" for this site -- it's a project I started to keep myself busy and hone my web design skills. It will evolve overtime and I'll use it as an archive of my thoughts, my artwork, all sorts of things. I suppose it functions the same way as many other sites using this platform, as a little collage of all of my interests.
Like many of my like-minded peers of neocities.org, I dislike social media I do use it ocassionally to sell my art (sue me it's rough out here) but the lifestyle I held of endless doomscrolling, self-comparison, and being accessible to any one of my aquaintances at any moment was not it for me. And the less real life-oriented sites, i.e. Twitter, Tumblr, etc., and their dreadful cliqueiness didn't do it for me either. So I guess the point of Thingamabob is twofold; to build skill and foster real self-expression, and to freely create an identity seperate from my in-person self.
